A Fun + Fancy Child's Holiday Table

As our extended family grows, we're reintroducing the child's table once again to this year's holiday gatherings. But this time around we're creating a table that will make even the most mature adult want to secretly join in on the fun.

With glitter galore, a fun + fancy child's holiday table is the perfect way to make the little ones feel like members of the celebration while gently encouraging age appropriate table manners.

Wrapping craft paper around a child's folding table is how we created the decorated table cover. To make your own, simply trim craft paper to the appropriate size, then fold the four edges as you would a present and secure them with double-sided tape.

And since all little ones love glitter, glitter dots in differing metallics - silver, gold, and white - were applied all along the top of the table using a round stencil brush and school glue.

Gold and silver pom poms were attached along the edge of the table cover and scattered on top for some extra fanciness.

And a glitter leaf was placed underneath each clear acrylic plate. I love how these leaves dress up the place setting.

Lastly, furry pillows were added to a pair of child's chairs to help boost up the little tots.

So fun + so fancy! This child's table is definitely worthy of the holidays and is an age appropriate way to make the little ones feel the joyous festivities of the day.

I love this. I don't have any kids to do this for, but I will someday! Love the fur covered stool!
